Water: it’s such a fundamental part of life that most of us take it completely for granted. Yet, residents in Flint, Michigan have gone nearly three years without being able to trust their tap water, all thanks to a cost-saving switch to the Flint River. Our team of journalists traveled to Flint to see how residents have been dealing with the ongoing crisis. We went door to door and to community meetings, bowling alleys, the local campus, a soup kitchen, a pet store, the old General Motors plant and more. It’s all woven together by 16 journalism students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This is “Finding Flint.”
